While our scene was being colorized we held a 1/2 day video shoot of Ron and Kim in our Going Interactive Green Screen Studio. The footage was digitized, edited and made ready to go into our Flash piece.

After the inked version of the scene was approved we moved on to colorizing.
Next up: Green screen work

After analyzing the reference photos we moved on to producing rough pencil sketches of the scene and then a final inked version. (Thanks to Mike Dyson at Guerrilla 808 Studios helping us out with this.)

Our first step in creating the new Flash based promotional site for Ron Clark’s Great American Teacher’s Club was to visit the Ron Clark Academy and take reference photos for the “scene” of the Flash site.

This is some interesting data…

The research shows that a huge majority (83 percent) of tweens (age 10-14) spend at least an hour online per day, compared with 68 percent reporting they watch an hour of TV per day. That’s big news for online products and services.
However, there’s a couple other interesting points…
A minimum of 40 percent of tweens reported using search to gather more info about products/services about which they’d seen an ad. Some 78 percent said they use Google most often; 14 percent cited Yahoo instead.
Don’t forget about the social sites too now – Six in 10 visit social-network sites at least once a day.

All in all, if your audience is upcoming tweens (who are some of the first to grow up being on computers) then give Going Interactive a call or email to get the conversation started.
